As your SNP candidate at the next Scottish Parliament election, I will seek to represent people across the new Glasgow Central constituency and work to improve lives across our communities.
I am a long-time campaigner and a former Glasgow MP. I am proud to have fought against cruel Westminster policies like the two-child benefit limit and pushed for greater investment in our city.
So many people were hopeful when the Tories were kicked out of government at the last Westminster election, only to be let down by Labour now that they are in power.

Delivering for Scotland
Meanwhile, the SNP Scottish Government is focused on working to deliver for Scotland.
From scrapping peak rail fares and extending free bus travel, to delivering the Scottish Child Payment and protecting free prescriptions, the SNP is working to tackle the cost of living.
We’re working flat out to improve access to the NHS, through added investment – including 100,000 more GP appointments.
We’re investing in more affordable housing for Glasgow families, and taking action to tackle the climate emergency.
And we’re working hard to build a better future, and standing up for the people of Scotland’s right to decide that future with independence.
